User Guide
Settings Box
Before working on your maps, we recommend opening the Settings Box to customize your preferences for materials, distances, warnings, and layers. There are plenty of options in each tab that you can use to customize PT-AutoMate to follow your company guidelines and branding.
1. Main Settings
- Choose to use the Small font size when working on heavy complicated maps
- The tags offset lets you control the distance between the tendon generated ID Bubble and the slab
- Save settings as CSV file: this is a useful feature for customers who purchase multiple licenses of PT-AutoMate. You can customize all settings, export them as a CSV file, and share it with your colleagues to easily import them into their PT-AutoMate version.
2. Materials Tab:
3. Distances Tab:
- Maximum distance between chairs: this value defines how the intermediate chairs will be generated. PT-AutoMate checks the distance between the imported chairs and places the intermediate chairs based on this value.
- Maximum distances between tendons: If the distance between two tendons exceeds this value, it will be marked as a warning.
- Tendons elevation curve tangent at ends: this defines the curve of the tendons based on the stressing force. This value affects the length of the tendon and eventually its weight.
- Add pan-box at minimum distance from slab edge: PT-AutoMate checks all live ends distance from the slab edge. If the distance exceeds the specified value, the live End is automatically transformed into a Pan Box. You can always use the Swap Pan/LiveEnd tool to convert it back to a Live End.
4. Warning Tab:
All warnings are managed and customized from here. When unchecking a warning feature, PT-AutoMate will not consider generating a warning on that matter when generating the map.
5. Layers/colors Tab:
